I WANT people to think I’m a loser!!!

by Jerome Chandler on May 8, 2012 · 0 comments

Actually, I’ve been more successful than 90% of network marketers out there.

So why do I want people to think I’m a loser…

I’ll explain, but first….

In network marketing we are prospecting three types of people usually..

Reds, Greens, Blues…

Blues are people who are perceived as beneath you…Greens are on your same level, usually your friends/co-workers.  Reds are people you respect.  They usually have money, power, and influence because of what they do.  Usually are lawyers, doctors, pastors, politicians, business owners.

Here’s an example…

If a guy makes 50k per year working in a plant, and Joe Blow is making 20k delivering newspapers, usually he will consider him to be beneath him  (socio-economically).

To the guy working in the plant, the newspaper guy is usually a blue, sometimes a green.

Now this isnt a bad thing per se’ but a part of human nature…

Take that same worker in the plant making 50k per year, and place him against a doctor or lawyer making 250k per year…they will look at him as if he is beneath them…usually sub-consciously.

To the doctor, the blue collar plant worker is a blue, sometimes a green.  To the plant worker, the Doctor may be looked at as a red.

Take that same doctor or lawyer and place him against a owner or CEO of a Inc. or Fortune 500 company, and the doctor is a blue.  To the doctor the CEO is a red.

So in marketing, we tend to go after people who are at our same perceived level or the ones we feel are lower than us.

Because its easy…we go after those we feel wont reject us.

EGO!

You have to start at you level and look for people who feel they are better than you, to join your business.

Now pay close attention!  THEY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT FROM YOU!!!

I’ll say it again, THEY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT FROM YOU!!!

They will say “I have money, Joe Blow has never made money like I have, he has no credibility to tell me a way to make more money”…

You may say thats arrogant, but what if a homeless guy told you a way to make money, all you have to do is go to this website and pay $500, would you do it?

NO!

You have to sort of flatter those who are Reds to you and say something like this…”I’ve been keeping my eye on this company and I would like your opinion on it, I really value your opinion and want to see if its something I should get involved with?”

Now they’ll usually ask “what is it?”

At this point SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!

As hard as that may be, it may cost you thousands of dollars..

Depending on the success of your company, give them a high class, glossy style publication about your company, if it was featured in Success From Home or Your Business At Home.

Then get them on the phone with an upline or sideline leader who can talk their language.

Make sure to edify the upline/sideline leader, so they respect them instantly.

Language may cost you more than you know..be careful with it.

They may talk and compare boats and cars, etc.. But the main purpose of the call is to invite the Red prospect out to a professional meeting.

Home meetings are good but professional meetings should never be mixed.  Keep reds at meetings with reds.

Now here’s why I want I want people to think I’m a loser…

Earlier I told you I have been successful in my primary business.

I’m just an IT professional, never cracked six figures a a job

What if I prospected a doctor or a lawyer who is making $250k per year..

They will obviously see my success and automatically assume they can do WAY better than I have (this is good).

They may say, “That loser Jerome made money and hit positions, I know I can do this way better than him!”

And they’re right!

When I started this industry I had no credibility…now I have some..but doctors and lawyers, at least in the US have very much influence.

So if they are in my organization, they are a person of influence, the more production they create, the more I make.

They way my primary companies system is setup, and the way I have my team structured and positioned..

If 3 of my down-line pass me up in my current position, I automatically hit the position I was trying to hit anyway!

Can we say BMW, 5k shares of stock, expense account, free annual vacation and 5k+ dollars of residual and bonuses!

So that’s why its key to go after Reds, people who may think you’re a loser.

Going after Reds will make you a Red, which will help you get more reds easier!  funny how that works!

Lets make believers out of them!!

#1 Trick to get more customers for your MLM

by Jerome Chandler on April 20, 2012 · 1 comment

In my primary company I was blessed to be one of the few people to reach our bonus club in my city.

The bonuses would pay out an extra sum of money on top of the residuals and other payouts, most times an extrsa $200-$300 bucks.

All we had to do was get two extra customers per month…

Others thought it was amazing…

I only later realized why people felt that way…

They couldnt duplicate the results…

We had taken a training on how to get customers, and discovered that, when you tell people why you need their business, you have a much greater chance of actually getting it.

The people who study “people”, also discovered this…

http://inlpcenter.com/7-common-assumptions-your-brain-cant-resist/

“Did you know that people who use the word because when making a request dramatically increase their chances of getting the favor?

Social psychologist Ellen Langer performed an experiment in which she asked to cut in line to use a copy machine. She tested three different ways of asking, and recorded the results:

Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine?
60% said OK.

Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine because I’m in a rush?
94% said OK.

Using because I’m in a rush yielded a huge approval boost. Even more impressive was the next trial:

Excuse me, I have five pages. May I use the Xerox machine because I have to make some copies?
93% said OK.

Using the word because is more important than the ensuing reason. It seems that just having a reason is enough, regardless of what that reason may be, even if it doesn’t make much sense or actually justify the special request. Think about it. 93% of people responded positively to because I have to make some copies.”

Hope that helps!!!
